I have a fast broadband connection, why am I still having issues with watching Nine on demand?

There could be a couple of things going wrong. High-traffic times during the day can mean slower speeds.

For people with ADSL, proximity to the telephone substation can be an issue. If there’s a few of you sharing a single connection through a modem or router, that can also affect speed. If your wireless connection is dropping in and out, that can cause issues too.

To get 9Now up and running you need a minimum of 0.6 mbps. If you want to get the best out of 9Now, we recommend the following speeds:

  • 0.7 mbps for low picture quality
  • 1.8 mbps for good picture quality
  • 3.0 mbps for High Definition (SD)
